GOAL: Offer a unique experience to Disney+ subscribers that allowed them to watch their favorite TV shows and films with friends and family, by leveraging our playback synchronization technology
MY ROLE: Project Manager, Product Design. What did that mean? I was the Design Team Leader for the GroupWatch Tiger Team, that later grew to 22 members and the cross-functional point of contact for every other group such as Engineering, QA, Corporate, Product, PR, etc.

I led a product design team consisting of 22 team members across multiple disciplines including illustration, UX, UI, UXR, user flows, prototyping, motion graphics and more.
In addition to defining design requirements, writing user stories, leading critiques, research and testing, I was the point of contact for all engineering, QA and cross-functional teams.

Device Categories
GroupWatch became the first co-viewing experience not only to be a part of the streaming service itself (not a third party integration or Chrome extension), but it also made technological history by being the first to allow a user to seamlessly transfer and watch on all 3 device categories - Mobile, Desktop and Connected Devices.
