DPA - Operationalization, Optimization and Automatization
Reviewing and getting thousands of licensed products out the door every year was far from easy when the only tools I had were an outlook inbox, an excel spreadsheet and reluctant participants on BOTH sides of the fence.
I decided that there had to be a better solution for everyone. So I went ahead and made one.
Digital Product Assessment (DPA) - Licensed Products
From app operated robots to drones, from smart watches to AR, from websites to digital collectibles. If it had a Marvel character on it, it had to go through me and my team.
Marvel Kids Games
With all the extra time I had made in my schedule from automating the DPA system, I was able to lead the development of additional games for the Marvel Kids team that had been siting in the backlog.
Marvel New Media Digital Series and Content Pitches
While at Marvel, a new division called New Media, centered on digital shorts and content was founded. Leveraging my background in Film and video I helped with several Proof of Concept projects and process as a flex project.
Marvel Unlimited Annual Plus
A premium kit for our top tier subscription members, I managed the design of the box, letter, sell page and marketing materials for the 10th Anniversary, Venom 25th Anniversary and New X-MenĀ Marvel Unlimited Plus Kits.
Marvel.com Re-Design and Content Management Systems (CMS)
Given something akin to the world's largest IKEA box, with no instructions, no idea how many pieces were in the box or what those pieces could do, our team was tasked with redesigning and repopulating every single page page on Marvel.com AND keeping all the comics and MCU fans happy with the outcome.
The outcome was a Webby Award winning site that still thrives.
